Italo Moro has his roots in Italy and Switzerland, where he grew up. His professional education is from the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste ZHdK and the visual artist Gérard Miedinger.

He has completed in 2010/11 the curatorial program in Bø, Telemark University College.

For many years he worked as an artist in graphic design and visual communication in Norway. Over more than twenty years, however, free art with paintings, installations and prints has become his main activity.
