Nocturnal dialogue:

„Plötzlich ist es schaudernd still um uns herum – sind wir auf dem Holzweg unterwegs, Bruder?“

„Diese Nacht ist pechschwarz. Zum Glück müssen wir nicht „mit dem Kopf durch die Wand“, Blinder!“

„Ohne dich Bruder, wäre auch der helle Tag eine Blindspur für mich.“

„Morgen wenn das Licht zurückkehrt, sehen wir die Grenze vor uns, Blinder.“ 

„Und dann, Bruder?”

„Auf der anderen Seite angekommen sind wir sicher und befreit vor tödlichen Keimen!“

„Was sicher ist in dieser Welt ist, dass alles unsicher ist, Bruder.“

Monologue early in the morning:

„Bist du schon wach, Bruder? Kannst du die befreiende Grenze schon erblicken?“

„Bist du noch da? – Deine Füsse sind eiskalt und steif!“

„…warum, warum hast du mich verlassen, Bruder?“

„Trifft es zu, wenn man sagt: „Besser spät als nie“, Bruder?“

„Besser nie, als zu spät, gibt mehr Sinn, Blinder.“ 

„Dann hat die Vergangenheit uns eingeholt, Bruder. Wo bist du?“

„Der Tag ist dunkel geworden. Dies kann auch ein Blinder wie du noch sehen.“

„Ätzende Stiche brennen auf meiner Haut. Mir geht langsam die Luft aus, Bruder.“

„Der Wind hat gedreht. Ein Feuer zerstört auch noch das letzte Haus.“

„Kannst du den Weg noch sehen, Bruder?“

 „Vorsicht Blinder, ein Benzinfass liegt vor deinen Füssen!“ 

„Gib mir deine Hand, Bruder.“

„Beeil dich, wir müssen ein Versteck finden für die Nacht!”

„Ich fühle das Mondlicht nur schwach. Vielleicht versteckt sich der Mond hinter einer Wolke, Bruder?“

„Er schaut zwischen den wenigen Bäumen hindurch auf uns zu.“

„Dann sind wir zu dritt mit dem Mond, Bruder!“

„So kannst du es auch sehen, Blinder. Der Weg teilt sich hier vorn.“

„Dann folgen wir den Spuren von jenen die vor uns gefahren sind, Bruder.“

„Spuren gibt’s genug, ein Umweg links, ein Irrweg rechts, oder ist es gerade umgekehrt?“

„Du bist jetzt mein einziger Pfadfinder und Wegweiser, Bruder.“

 „In der Gabelung steht ein einsames Haus.“ 

„Sieht es verlassen aus, Bruder?“

„Sei still, hörst auch du Schüsse in der Ferne?“
